Case Manager & Social Service Coordinator

Ann coordinates with other NGOs and churches to connect people and communities with needed services, focusing on the recycling communities at Soi On Nut #84/86. She also assists alumni with transitions and crises. Ann is a single mother with 2 daughters and fosters a boy with special needs.

Addy

Church Planting, Educational Specialist

Addy is an educator with years of professional experience and a heart for the working class of Thailand. He and his wife are planting Nam Nueng Gaew (“Glass of Water”) Church with a vision for holistic community development in On Nut. They have a young daughter.

Outreach & Discipleship

Bpop leads outreach with his wife, Dao, in the Chinatown neighborhood, caring for homeless and often family-less marginalized teens and adults. He often mentors men, teaching them skills (gardening, construction, custodial work) while also building discipleship relationships.

Dao

Outreach & Discipleship

Dao leads outreach in Chinatown and On Nut, often caring for the most marginalized and vulnerable, from homeless teenagers to senior sex workers. She provides holistic support to many, from meeting physical needs to providing spiritual support and counseling. Dao and Bpop live in the On Nut area with their four young adult children nearby.

Thailand Ministry Coordinator

Jim’s primary role is to mentor and advise. He also reaches out online to alumni of The Well, now scattered around Thailand, keeping in touch and offering connection and spiritual support. He and his wife, Judy, split their time between their home in On Nut and their US base in Illinois, working remotely when in the States. Their aging mothers and their six children live in the US.

Discipleship & Kingdom Relationships

Judy uses her side-by-side team participation, one-on-one supervision, her own walk with Jesus, and the work of everyday life to train and encourage Thai leaders.  Judy builds relationships between partners here and ministry in Thailand, through conversation, writing, and prayer. She encourages walking with Christ, whoever a person might be, their nationality, socio-economic class, or age.

Administration & Thai Development

Sa manages the Thai Board of Directors, coordinates volunteers, and develops communication to help Thai people understand and support our projects. She also provides support and counsel for alumni and others. She is a single mother to a teenage daughter.

Khio

Naree Vocational Coach & Discipleship

Khio’s primary focus is the Naree vocational project. She coordinates with other Thai organizations, churches, and businesses to provide resources and vocational training. She builds mentoring relationships with the project participants. Khio also maintains discipleship connections with The Well and Naree alumni throughout Thailand. She lives in Bangkok with her husband, Jeremy, and has two grown sons.

Kay

Student Assistant

Kay handles marketing and sales for our peanut butter business, Connect Kitchen. She also assists with the Chinatown outreach and another partner ministry in a nearby slum community, while working part-time towards a teaching degree. Kay is a single mom caring for a young son.

Anna Hammond

Secretary & Communications

Anna manages communications for Servantworks and serves on her church’s pastoral team. She and her husband, Ben, live in Aurora, Illinois, with their two daughters.

David Boone

Board Member

David lives in the San Francisco Bay Area with his wife Hyacinth and has visited Servantworks in Thailand several times.  He enjoys seeing God at work through Servantworks and local outreaches.

Glenn Harms

Acting President & Treasurer

Glenn joined the Servantworks family in 2011. He and his wife, Joanne, live in Morris, Illinois, and worship at Village Christian Church in Minooka. The Harms have two children and four granddaughters.

Kevin Kane

Board Member

Kevin is the pastor of a Cambodian church in Florida, where he lives with his wife, Sing.  She is Thai but came to the US as a refugee from Cambodia. They have five sons and three grandchildren.

Michaela Tomsen

Vice President

Michaela spent a year in Thailand with Servantworks in 2008. She lives in Wichita, Kansas, with her husband and three children, where they love people in their neighborhood church and school.

Parker Pierce

Board Member

Parker has served as a board member for Servantworks since 2014. He lives with his family in Virginia and serves on his church’s worship team.
