Opportunities

Narimon Branding/Marketing Strategist

Do you love Jesus, like fashion, and wonder how to fit the two together? Does the narcissism of the fashion industry bother you? Do you want to help change pay standards for garment workers?

We would like to develop our Narimon® brand as a business-as-mission alternative to traditional fashion marketing, that promotes responsibility and personal connection over consumerism and sterility. Cool, quality products, yes, but with a focus on the people, mostly women, who make them.

The ideal volunteer in this role would have education and/or experience in the fashion industry, and a few available hours per week to consult with our Thai and U.S. leaders, help develop promotional materials and find new market channels.

Men’s Program Developer

Lower class Thai men have a reputation for unfaithfulness. Many grow up with no role models, and are introduced to addictive behaviors at an early age.

Many want to change, and have the call of God on their lives, but they completely lack support systems to do so.

Our intense desire is for mature, humble men to join us in order to begin a men's counterpart to The Well. It will be a work/study program, but with a higher emphasis on discipline and integrity. We are looking for a mature man of God with entrepreneurial gifts to get this vision started.

This position requires the highest integrity, and the worker must desire to be personally accountable to others.

Import Consultant

International shipping and customs add a high percentage to the cost of a Narimon product.

For shipping, we currently we use UPS air freight, which is convenient but expensive, especially for heavier bulkier items such as handbags. We would like reduce our own costs as well as help ministries similar to ours who are equally burdened, and are talking with partner ministries about ways to coordinate ocean freight.

We would like to find a volunteer with knowledge of freight forwarding and customs processing who could help us find and learn to manage a more cost-effective solution.

This volunteer could really be based anywhere.

Women‘s Mentor/Coach

Assist women in personal healing and growth. A mentor meets regularly with women, individually and/or in small groups to help them set goals and take steps to achieve them. This position is somewhat comparable to a social service caseworker.

It does not involve highly skilled counseling.

This is a longer-term position, and requires conversational ability in Thai.
